Dear Cub Family:
Greetings and welcome to the 2016 – 2017 school year at Clinton Elementary. My first year at CES was extremely rewarding and brought much excitement. I appreciate the hard work by all stakeholders. Without everyone working together, we wouldn’t have had a successful year. The faculty and staff worked very diligently to have Awesome Cubs. I know your student’s elementary journey this will be fantastic.
A special welcome is extended to our new students and faculty. We are fortunate the district allowed CES to have two new classes for 2nd and 5th grades in order to keep the student to teacher ratio small. All of our new staff have a wealth of expertise and will help CES to be great.
Enclosed in each of your child’s beginning of the year packet are a student information emergency card, lunch form, student agenda, and other pertinent information. Please read all materials and return any requested items in a timely fashion. Please make sure to complete and return the lunch form to school to school so that your child will not create a lunch balance.
Your child’s safety is important to us. If your child is a car rider, you must have a car rider tag displayed in your windshield for pick up. If you do not have a tag displayed, you will be asked to get one from the front office and return to the car rider line to pick up your child.
Given that Clinton would like to continue to make academic gains, I encourage each of you to become actively involved in each of your child’s education by:
Clinton is committed to excellence by preparing students to be responsible lifelong learners to be successful in a challenging world. Clinton’s vision and purpose correlate with our district’s vision and purpose of always “Putting Our Children First.”
Thank you for all you will do to assist us in striving for excellence. With administrators, faculty/staff, students, parents and the community working together as the “Cub Team,” we will have the VERY BEST elementary school in the district, the VERY BEST in the state, and the VERY BEST in the WORLD. Remember, this year at Clinton Elementary, “We’re Teamed Up For Learning.”
